Chaim Goldberg (March 20, 1917 - June 26, 2004) was a Polish artist, painter, sculptor, and engraver. He is known for being a chronicler of Jewishlife in the eastern European Polish villages (or Shtetl) where he was born, Kazimierz Dolny in eastern Poland; where hewitnessed life and the recurring artcolony atmosphere that he yearned forhimself, and later undertook the mission ofbeing a leading painter of Holocaust-eraart, which to the artist was seen as anobligation and art with a sense ofprofound mission.

Following World War II he emigrated toIsrael and in 1967 to the United States, (heand his family became US citizens in 1973). Hedied in Boca Raton, FL in 2004.
