Leo Meiersdorff 1934 - 1994 was an American-German painter best known for his Expressionist ink and watercolor drawings of jazz musicians. His work is characterized by its lively approach to caricature and loosely, spindly line work, and is often set in live music clubs of Europe, New York, Los Angeles, and New Orleans.
